ELEMENTARY
We will assign homework on a need-be basis to reenforce skills that are practiced in school. We ask that our fourth graders read at least 20 minutes a night and record their minutes in their agenda. Math homework will be assigned twice a week.
AVID & AGENDA
Rasor Elementary has the privilege of entering our 4th year in the AVID program. The AVID program (Advancement Via Individual Determeniation) is a program that teaches your students organizational skills that will used throughout their school careers. Our fourth grade students begin the year using a binder to organize their materials, notebooks, and record their homework/daily work in their agenda. We ask that parents please sign their student's agenda every night!
POSITIVE BEHAVIOR SYSTEM
Along with the school's positive behavior system, fourth grade follows the same policies. We praise our students with positive reenforcement and reward behavior with the school's currency Starbucks.
